Openhouse in the heart of Milan
April 24, 2019So much happened in Milan during those 7 days of Design Week, I hardly know where to start and what to share. What I always love the most is a special installation or collaboration. And the ability to see places you would otherwise never visit. One of those moments was during the launch of Openhouse Magazine no. 11 in the beautiful home of Christian Pizzinini and Antonio Scolari in the heart of Milan.
It was very special to be invited to a private home. I was impressed by their hospitality and enthusiasm about art and architecture. This home is a perfect mix of carefully selected furniture, unique design and 20th-century art pieces. It shows a true passion for living and beauty.
The interior felt calm and basic, yet colorful and very intriguing at the same time. Special lighting and art play a major role in every room of the home. Like the geometric rug above the bed and the ‘imperfect’ lamp in the living room.
Openhouse is a lifestyle and culture magazine. An inspiring guide to creative people all around the world who open their homes and private spaces to the public to share cultural activities and experience life together. The latest issue also features an article about the house of Christian Pizzinini and Antonio Scolari located in Puglia.
