Coffee Moments
February 5, 2019The Ferm Living Plant Box is not just for plants. What I like about this design is the versatility. After using the metal box for books and plants close to my kitchen and as a storage box in the bathroom. I now created a coffee corner in my living room. For a relaxed start of the day with my favorite magazines within reach. Using the special plate the Plant Box can easily be turned into a side table.
During the IMM fair in Cologne last month I visited the Ferm Living stand themed “The Home”. I was impressed by their beautiful styling combining all (new) products. Also, Ferm Living presented an inspiring new catalog with beautiful photography, interviews and a product overview.
“Our home is connected to so many feelings and memories that it can be hard to pin down. It is a journey with no end-point with constant surprises and new angles. Having a home and feeling is about more than things, home is where people come together and where life happens. The Home is an exploration of the little scenes that can take place every day”. Their stand and catalog take you through each room of the Home showcasing the existing and new collection combined in personally decorated spaces. To show you how design can shape your life and make it comfortable - Trine Andersen”.
Next to the new furniture and products coming up I was enthusiastic about the new additions to the existing Plant Box. Like a metal box container, a metal divider and a square tray made of oak. This will provide even more possibilities to use this box in every space in the house.
This box is also suitable for smaller living to create an indoor garden, as a room divider or stylish storage solution. But there is also a smaller version available to fit in the windowsill. As a small wall box or a round standing version. All in various beautiful colors, like black, grey, dusty blue, dark green, red-brown or taupe. Easy to use separately but also nice to combine different versions.
