Urban jungle Bloggers
As I showed you on Instagram this week, greens are taking over my home at this moment. A good reason to join the Urban Jungle Bloggers community. Every month a selected topic is shared and october is about the ‘Plant Shelfie’: the joy of greens in our homes and our love for styling. Show us your plants on your shelf and create a styling that is as individual as you are.
Urban Jungle Bloggers is all about living with plants – in your home, in other interiors, in public spaces. We want to highlight the beauty and benefits of houseplants and other greeneries in urban spaces. Living with plants is not merely about styling and decorating. Houseplants have beneficial effects on our living environment and make our lives better, healthier and more beautiful.
My ‘Plant Shelfie’ looks like this at the moment. The String Pocket shelves are perfect for small plants, succulents and catuses. I have to admit, these are the only urban greens I can keep alive. I want talk to them and even sing now and then, but sometimes I just forget watering the plants.. These little greens are strong and beautiful and make my home more personal. I love nature, and this is a lovely way to enjoy it inside as well.
No greens without a bug: the postcard comes from the Bugsbox designed by Hagendornhagen. The ceramics are from the Belgian designer Catherine Lovatt for Serax. The cups have exactly the right size for these small cactuses I found at a local garden center. At this moment my life is busy and filled with nice blog, photography and styling assignments. That means I love to keep it quiet and simple at home.
